
Guy Westhoff
Biography
Dr. Guy M. Westhoff serves as the Director of Enterprise Systems at Washington State University.
Guy has over 30 years experience working in educational settings with responsibilities ranging from Classroom Teacher, Director of IT, to Professor of Educational Technology. He also has worked as a consultant to assist educational institutions mange the change process related to the implementation of a new business system, technological solution, or classroom innovation.
Guy’s areas of expertise and research interests focus on the integration of technologies into teaching and learning environments, blended and web-based learning, effective professional development for technology implementation, and the dynamics of educational and organizational change.
In his faculty role, Guy has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Instructional Technology covering classroom applications of technology, instructional design principles, organizational and educational change theories and models, advanced instructional computing and pedagogical best practices for technology integration.
Guy has a Ph.D.in Educational Technology with a double emphasis in interactive learning systems and technology integration, a Master of Education in Instruction, and a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Mathematics. He enjoys running, mountain biking, hiking, reading a good book, and collecting marbles. Guy and his wife Kelley live in Pullman and enjoy the community and the outdoor activities readily available in the immediate area.
