Hanoku Bathula

Biography

Hanoku Bathula is a Professional Teaching Fellow in the Department of Management and International Business. He has a wealth of academic and industry experience spanning over two decades. Hanoku holds PhD (AUT), MBS (Massey), MHighEd (Auckland).

Hanoku's main teaching areas are strategic management, professional development and consultancy projects. His teaching philosophy focuses on work-integrated learning and authentic assessments. 

Hanoku maintains a strong link with the industry and certified as a PRINCE2 Professional in Project Management and a Fellow of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua), Ireland. He is currently a mentor in the QS Future17 educational initiative working on interdisciplinary projects related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Hanoku's current research interests are in the area of sustainability, authentic learning and cultural competency.
