Biography

Harold Hoang is the Director, Communications and Information, and the Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs Colorado. He develops and provides strategic governance and programs to assure delivery of premiere information and technology services to enhance the Air Force’s premier educational institution for developing leaders of character motivated to lead the United States Air Force in service to the Nation.

Prior to his assignment at the Air Force Academy he was the CIO for Alaskan Command, Anchorage Alaska. He also interacted directly with the Department of Defense CIO as well as other Federal departments and agencies executives with responsibilities to maintain oversight of operational planning and execution of IT strategies and investments.
