Received an Associate degree in Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Administration (Public Administration concentration) from Ferris State University, Big Rapids Michigan in 1973. Received a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant Michigan in 1989. Obtained Certified Fraud Examiner designation in 1991 (inactive). Certification of Training by the Michigan State Police on the Unified Incident Command System, Department of Homeland Security in 2005, Graduate of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators Executive Development Institute, Princeton NJ, 2005.
I joined Lawrence Tech in April 2002 and was named the Director in December 2002. I have over thirty years of combined corporate security, law enforcement and campus law enforcement administration experience. I am a member of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators, National Association of Chiefs of Police, American Society for Industrial Security, Crime Prevention Association of Michigan, Michigan Auto Theft Investigators and various other related organizations.
