Biography

Harry Ortiz serves as the Associate Director of Academic Multimedia Services at Stevens Institute of Technology. He graduated with a BFA in Film Production from Long Island University C.W. Post. With 20 years of audio visual experience in higher education and the financial industry, Harry has developed expertise in such areas as video conferencing, systems design, and live event technology. His previous contributions in the financial industry include serving as an Event Technician at Deutsche Bank for numerous conferences. In his current role at Stevens, Harry oversees all audio visual and multimedia in Stevens' learning spaces including implementation and design of new classroom and conference room technology. This includes interactive learning technology, web conferencing, classroom technology design, and conference room technology design. He is also involved campus wide in assisting and supporting faculty, staff, and students with the use of these spaces.
