Heath Tuttle
Biography
Heath Tuttle is the Vice President and CIO at the University at Buffalo. He is responsible for leadership of the central IT organization and for implementation and support of all IT services.
Prior to joining UB as Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Heath was Associate Vice President for Information Technology for the University of Nebraska system and Chief Information Officer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. A University of Nebraska alumnus, Heath began his professional career with the University of Nebraska in 2003.
During his time at UNL, Heath also taught as an adjunct instructor for UNL's College of Journalism and Mass Communication and for the department of Communication Studies.
Prior to UNL, he taught in the School of Communication and Mass Media at Northwest Missouri State University.
He earned his PhD in educational studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, his master’s degree in communication studies, focusing on organizational communication, from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and his bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Chadron State College.
