Biography

Heidi brings over 22 years of experience in higher education.  She is currently an Instructional Designer and Technologist II with the Personalized and Adaptive Learning Team at the University of NC Charlotte.  She served as the director of a Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation at Salem College.  Heidi also served as a chair and tenured professor where she designed and created degrees from the ground up.

As an instructional designer, Heidi supports the instructional use of technologies to promote student success and works to design engaging, high-quality courses that meet quality assurance standards and best teaching practices.
