Heidi Trotta

Biography

Heidi Trotta has been an Instructional Designer for the last eight years at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. Her major responsibilities involve(1)e-learning creation and production work and (2)assisting students and faculty with integrating various technologies into the classroom and their personal lives. Previous to coming to Seton Hall in 2003, she worked as the Coordinator of Online/Distance Education at a community college and in the health care industry in various training capacities ranging from clinical student and staff training to technologies and professional staff development. Her current academic interests include digital content production (i.e. eBooks and eLearning materials), effective poster and presentation design, visual literacy and the delivery of student technology training. Heidi holds an Ed.M. from Teachers College at Columbia University in Instructional Technology and Media. She also has a Master's Degree in Adult Education/Instructional Media from Seton Hall and certificates in Advanced Web Design/Web Graphics from Rutgers University.
