Biography

Dr. Heidi Wilkes is the Chief Learning Officer at Unity College, dedicated to providing the highest quality online and hybrid educational experiences anchored in innovation and sustainability science.

Previous roles include Chief Academic Officer & Provost at American College of Education and inaugural Associate Dean of Academic Operations at University of New England College of Professional Studies (CPS), leading the Academic Programs, Assessment, Accreditation, Instructional Design Services, Enrollment, and Student Support teams.

She also served as Associate Vice President of Learning Solutions at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), focusing on the design of alternative credentials and tailored learning solutions, and Chief Academic Officer of College for America at SNHU, developing innovative, competency-based, online, regionally accredited, low-cost undergraduate degrees for working adults. Heidi also held roles as the Dean of the Innovations Group and Senior Lecturer at Granite State College, Assistant Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs, and Senior Lecturer, and Director of the Doctor of Education program at Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies. She earned a BA in International Relations from Boston University, MBA in International Business from Bentley University, and Doctorate in Law and Policy from Northeastern University.
