Hiroyo Saito

Biography

Hiroyo Saito is the Director of the Instructional Design and Technology Services at Haverford College.

The Instructiona Design and Technology Services (IDTS) group facilitates the use of technology and sound instructional design principles for teaching and learning.  The IDTS providing the Haverford College community with instructional design and technology, classroom technology, digital media, and AV support.

Before she began at Haverford College, she worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology as the Interim Director of the Language Learning Center. She is passionate about working with faculty to explore pedagogy and instructional technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Her current interest areas include Learning Scinece, Universal Design for Leaning, Blended/Hybrid Learning, Online Learning, Active Classroom, and Learning Space Design.

She holds an Ed. M. in Educational Media and Technology from Boston University and M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MATESOL) from Saint Michael's College.
