Biography
I am the Director of the Instructional Design and Technology Services within Instructional and Information Technology Services at Haverford College.
The Instructiona Design and Technology Services group facilitates the use of technology and sound instructional design principles for teaching and learning. We providing the community with instructional design and technology, classroom technology, digital media, and AV support.
Before I began at Haverford College, I worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology as the Interim Director of the Language Learning Center. I am passionate about working with faculty to explore new pedagogy and instructional technology to improve student's learning.
My current interest areas include learning scinece, universal design for leaning, blended/hybrid learning, online learning, active classroom, and learning space design.
I have an Ed. M. in Educational Media and Technology from Boston University and M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MATESOL) from Saint Michael's College.
