Indi Marie Williams
Biography
Dr. Indi Marie Williams is an Instructional Designer and Technology Manager at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Open Learning and a member of the Workforce Learning Team. Dr. Williams holds a Ph.D. in Educational Technology and a Masters in Communication Studies. She has worked as an instructional designer, adjunct faculty member and instructor of Communication, and computer and educational technology courses at Texas Tech University, Arizona State University and Minnesota State University at Mankato. Dr. Williams’ instructional design experience is expansive and extends to topics such as Artificial Intelligence products, generative AI, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, robotics, rapid prototyping, global manufacturing leadership, and C-Suite Leadership. Her research interests include the use of effective instructional design to increase organizational productivity, the communication of social constructions on social media, cross-cultural Computer Mediated Communication, the Artificial Intelligence digital divide, the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in developing interactive elements within the online classroom and risk and ethics as they relate to the development and deployment of Artificial Intelligence Systems.
