Jaclyn Stevens
Biography
Jaclyn Stevens is an instructional designer and Senior Research Scholar with the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation at NC State University. There she engages stakeholders in innovative models of professional capacity building and strategic support to serve blended and personalized learning programs.
Stevens also just concluded work as an SME consulting with the American Institutes for Research where her role focused on designing, planning, and implementing personalized virtual learning programs and processes to create comprehensive, adaptable, and equitable support for all school and district stakeholders.
Stevens transitioned from a career as a media designer to that of an educator thanks to her time with Americorp. She has taught middle and high school English Language Arts as well as Digital Media while supporting the creation of a New Tech High School in rural North Carolina. She is licensed and certified as an Instructional Specialist, an Instructional Technology Facilitator, a Secondary Digital Media educator, a Secondary Language Arts educator, and holds a special endorsement in Computer Education.
