Biography

Jemma is the Director of IT Accessibility at UIC, leading the ICT Accessibility Policy and services to ensure access for individuals with disabilities. She ensures compliance with key accessibility laws and standards like ADA, Section 504, and Section 508.

She co-edits the ARIA Authoring Practice Guide, actively contributes to the WCAG Working Group in W3C, and is a certified Section 508 Trusted Tester.
