Jaime Combariza
Biography
Jaime is the executive Director at the Center for Computing and Visualization (CCV) at Brown University. CCV provides cyberinfrastructure to advance research, scholarship and creativity at Brown University and contributes in the training of future scientists. Jaime was Director of Research Computing at Dartmouth College (2007-2011). Research Computing provides support in all aspects of scientific computing, and support for the emerging field in the digital humanities. Research computing also collaborates with all faculty members to blend research and teaching to enhance the learning process for students. Before coming to Dartmouth, Jaime started the research computing group at Miami University (2005-2007) and was the manager of the research computing group at the University of Arizona (2002 - 2004). Jaime has been providing research computing support for over 15 years. On the scientific side, Jaime has a background in computational chemistry and has published extensively in this area.EDUCAUSE Presentations
