Biography

Jake Holmquist is the Chief Information Officer at Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY. With over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, Jake has served in various technical and leadership roles building relationships and delivering digital transformation. In his role as CIO, Jake is responsible for leading the Information Technology Services (ITS) department as well as strategy and planning for campus technology initiatives. Having served in a number of technical capacities, Jake has led transformation in such areas as building a dark-fiber metro area network, migration to a LINUX-based datacenter, designing a hybrid-cloud datacenter, and numerous data analytic, automation,  and process improvement projects. Jake has served on several campus and external governing bodies and advisory boards including: Manhattan College Board of Trustees - Finance Committee, Manhattan College Technology Committee (Chair), Omnilert OTLab Advisory Board, and Google for Education Customer Advisory Board. Outside of the office, Jake enjoys serving as a USSA Level 100 ski coach and leading a youth ski program.
