
Jim Crawford
Biography
As a serviceman with the U.S. Army in the early ‘80's, Jim Crawford spent two years in Germany and then three in El Paso, Texas as a radar technician. Upon re-entering civilian life following an honorable discharge, Jim ran a successful home remodeling business and began taking classes at LSC-North Harris. He graduated with his AAS in 1998 and secured a position with Humble ISD where he worked for 8 years as the Assistant Director of Technology Services. Jim began his career at Lone Star in 2002 teaching as an adjunct for LSC-Kingwood and joined OTS as executive director of LSC-Montgomery in 2008. Jim is a skilled speaker and regularly presents at regional and national conferences on topics ranging from leadership, IT funding strategies and effective classroom technologies. Jim is married with two children and calls The Woodlands, Texas home.EDUCAUSE Presentations
