Biography

Jim Basney is a principal research scientist in the cybersecurity division at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois. He received his PhD in computer sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jim is Director and PI of Trusted CI, the NSF Cybersecurity Center of Excellence. Jim also leads the CILogon project.
