James May
Biography
Dr. James S. May is the Faculty Fellow for Innovation and Technology at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. He also teaches English as a Second Language and is on the Sunshine State TESOL Board, Florida’s affiliate to TESOL International. James got his start in the field of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) in the mid 90's as a linguist for the U.S. Army, and has been working in digitally hybrid worlds ever since. He has been named Professor of the Year in the state of Florida twice, first by the Association of Florida Colleges in 2010 and then again by the Carnegie Foundation in 2011. He was also was named one of the Nation’s Top 40 Innovators in Education by the Center for Digital Education in 2013.EDUCAUSE Presentations
