Biography
Jim Beidler serves Columbus State Community College as the CTO for Information Technology and is currently the interim Vice President of Information Technology. In that capacity he is responsible for the College technology infrastructure, enterprise wide application systems, user support, telecommunications, information technology procurement, and technology asset management. In his 33 years at Columbus State, Jim has achieved a reputation as a committed leader who has worked his way up the organization starting in the manholes and ceilings. Jim remains willing and enthusiastic to get his hands dirty in day to day operations. He completed his BS in Management at Park University with graduate studies in Communications at Central Michigan University. He has been an adjunct faculty member in Computer Science. As a former Army Aviator he holds a commercial pilot’s license in both helicopters and airplanes.
