James King

Biography

Jim is an Associate Professor in Leadership Studies, Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He works on distance education and new technologies courses. Dr. King graduated from Indiana University in 1981 with an Ed.D. in Instructional Systems Technology. He has worked at the University of Hawaii, Indiana University, University of Southern California, and Mashed University in Iran. Jim was born in Coral Gables, Florida, married Mary Bruce (they served in the Peace Corps in Iran) and has two children. His research interests lie in distance education, multi-media and instructional systems, and diffusion and adoption of innovations.
