Janet Buckenmeyer is Program Chair and an Assistant Professor of the Instructional Technology Program for the Graduate School of Education at Purdue University Calumet. She teaches courses in appropriate technology integration, learning theories and technology, instructional design, leadership, and web-based instruction. Recent projects have included creating a strategic plan for the Instructional Technology Program, creating and implementing a departmental assessment program, and participating as a founding faculty mentor for the university's Online Teaching Institute. She received her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction - Educational Technology from the University of Toledo in 2001.
