This paper outlines a practical framework for capacity building to develop institutional digital humanities support for IT staff, librarians, administrators, and faculty with administrative responsibilities.
BiographyI am the director of educational technology at Trinity College (Hartford, CT), and, with George Williams, a founding co-editor of ProfHacker, a blog about technology, productivity, and pedagogy, currently hosted at the Chronicle of Higher Education. Before moving to Trinity in 2013, I was for ten years a professor of English at Central Connecticut State University, where my teaching and research focused on Victorian literature, modernism, psychoanalysis, digital humanities, and genres such as science fiction, neo-Victorian fiction, and comics.
