Jason Blackader
Biography
Jason Blackader is a Unix Systems Administrator at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. He is responsible for maintaining servers, storage infrastructure and various research/architecture projects including Identity Management, Virtualization and Rapid Deployment techniques. He holds a BS in Cartography from Salem State College in Salem, Massachusetts. After working in the GIS field for several years following college, he became a Unix Admin and worked for several larger internet startups. Following and during his "dot com" experiences, he also worked as an independent consultant on a wide range of contracts. At Art Center, he enjoys bringing his many performance and high availability computing experiences into the realm of Higher Education.EDUCAUSE Presentations
