Biography

For nearly 30 years, I've worked alongside higher education institutions, K-12 organizations, publishers, and EdTech companies through some of the biggest technology shifts our industry has experienced. Today, I lead the Education Vertical at Robots & Pencils, helping organizations turn the promise of AI into meaningful outcomes for students, educators, and product teams.

I'm less interested in AI for AI's sake than I am in solving real problems. Improving student success. Modernizing the learner experience. Giving faculty and staff time back for the work that only humans can do. Helping EdTech companies build products that create measurable impact. The technology is exciting, but the mission has always been education.

What I've learned is that the biggest challenge isn't adopting AI—it's leading transformation. The institutions and companies that succeed won't necessarily have access to better technology. They'll have leaders willing to rethink long-standing assumptions, modernize how they work, and build organizations that can continuously adapt.

Throughout my career (from Accenture to Unicon to Learnosity and now Robots & Pencils) I've been fortunate to work with incredible people across every corner of education. Their passion for helping others learn is what keeps me optimistic about the future of this industry.

I believe the future of education will be shaped by organizations that combine innovation with empathy, strategy with execution, and technology with purpose. AI is simply the next chapter.
