Biography

Jason Mock is the Senior Director of Teaching and Learning Strategy at Gies College of Business, where he leads a talented team of professionals dedicated to enhancing faculty teaching, developing high-quality educational materials, and supporting course delivery. A two-time graduate of the University of Illinois, Jason holds degrees in physics and education and has spent 25 years in online education across corporate, government, and higher education sectors—including 17 years at Illinois.

Jason played a key role in launching the iMBA in 2016 and previously designed nationally award-winning online courses. He was also instrumental in Illinois’ early adoption of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), helping develop eight of the university’s first ten Coursera courses. His passion lies in leveraging technology and innovation to expand access to high-quality education and transform learning experiences for students worldwide.
