Biography

Jason Shaffner has spent nearly two decades leading information technology and information systems initiatives in higher education. As Managing Director for Administrative Technology Services, he oversees the administrative application porfolio for Harvard University and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, including financial management systems, human capital management, budgeting and planning, student information systems, research administration, student affairs, residential systems, event management platforms, and many other applications in support of campus operations.

Before joining Harvard, Mr. Shaffner was a Project Manager and IT Consultant responsible for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Student Information Systems (SIS) projects at several large higher education institutions. Mr. Shaffner graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College.
