Jason Stein

Biography

Jason Stein is an experienced Information Assurance professional who earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Security in 2007, and his CISSP in 2015. He has worked in Academia since 2014, and in the Defense sector since 2005, following several years with the Federal Government. In addition to his work, Jason is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Purdue University.

    The new NIST SP 800-171 requirements can place a substantial burden on higher education. Purdue University decided to use infrastructure-as-a-service to create a secure virtual environment that will meet regulatory requirements without affecting fundamental research.
