Biography
Jay began his career in the computer industry in 1988 working in both the transportation and banking industries before coming to Emory University in the fall of 1997. Jay is the Director of Customer Serives at Emory, which includes Messaging, Client Services and Executive Technology Services. His teams handle all email and collaboration services, desktop support and executive support. He is a graduate of Indiana University and holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. Jay has spoken at several conferences over the last 20 years including the Educause Security Conference, the SecureIT Conference, the CSI NetSec Conference and the RSA Security Conference discussing the importance of security in the university environment as well as the Educause Southeast Regional Conference on migrating to Exchange Email.
