Biography
Jeff Gatten is the Dean of Library and Information Resources at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), where he has played a significant role in planning and policy development for the information technology infrastructure. Since his arrival at CalArts in 2004, selected projects have included implementation of wireless network access in the Library and other public and performance spaces, the installation of a 10G network backbone, and expanding technology staffing. Jeff completed his M.L.S. and M.A. in Sociology at Kent State University.
