Jeff Schneider

Biography

Jeff Schneider is the Chief Information Officer at College of the Ozarks and serves on its Presidential Leadership Cabinet. He manages a team of experts who provide strategy and technology services across diverse business areas, including marketing, hospitality, food service, retail management, student services, and fundraising. He also serves as board co-chair for MOREnet, the Missouri Research and Education Network, which provides technical services and resources to support Missouri’s K-12 schools, colleges and universities, public libraries, and government organizations.

Before joining College of the Ozarks, Jeff Schneider was the founding Vice President of Information and Interactive Systems for Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. In this role, he provided oversight and direction for the organization’s technologies and educational initiatives.

As the chief executive of the Interactive Design and Production team, he created and developed interactive educational experiences across the organization. He also led digital content development for elementary and high school students in four countries using augmented reality, virtual reality, and other interactive technologies.

Jeff's innovative approach was instrumental in leading one of the nation’s largest youth camps into the digital age. He created a comprehensive software solution for every aspect of the business operation, including a sophisticated student and teacher class scheduler. This system utilized advanced algorithms and predictive models to build classes and student rosters dynamically.

Building on his achievements, Jeff founded and ran a company that offered its proprietary camp management and scheduling software as a service to organizations nationwide. His entrepreneurial spirit continues to drive innovation in the education industry.
