Biography

Dr. Carpenter earned his Doctorate degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education in 2020. His research was centered on college value. Dr. Carpenter founded Vantage Point Consulting in 2006. Vantage Point is an education technology company that combines human centered design, big data science and analytics, application development, strategy consulting, and agile project management to the field of education and workforce development.  Dr. Carpenter is the PI for a $1 million ED/SBIR grant that funded the research and development of Return on College and is co-product owner with CAEL for a $5 million high school career pathway and skill development advising application funded by the Department of Education.
