Biography
As a twenty seven year Telecommunications Systems and Operations professional, I began my career in the US Air Force in 1980. From a small middle-Georgia town, I launched my military career in Europe, the Middle East and ultimately in Florida for the US Special Operations Command. As a telecommunications systems technician and facility manager, I helped to build and maintain a worldwide network of transmission facilities and core military networking infrastructure through 1986.
Upon leaving the military, I began to focus on several disciplines within the industry over the next 21 years for hardware systems manufacturers and service providers. I have experienced the growth and maturity of the industry from the days of analog FM circuits up through todays state-of-the-art IP networks and digital transmission systems. My most recent position was as SR VP of Operations for ETS, Inc., a small company providing public telephony services, ISP, video, surveillance and security services for enterprise clients throughout the US and Puerto Rico.
