Jeff Smith
Biography
Jeff Smith is a senior security analyst in the Identity & Access Management Office of Purdue University. His primary responsibilities include planning, deploying, and supporting Purdue's central authentication and authorization services. He also provides support for Purdue's central account provisioning system. Jeff was one of two principal developers of Purdue's Infrastructure for Identification, Authentication & Authorization (I2A2), and worked with the team that developed the Purdue University Identifier (PUID) system. More recently he worked with the Purdue Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation team to define an identity data synchronization and syndication process for the soon-to-be OnePurdue ERP. Jeff was graduated from Purdue University with a B.A. in Psychology and an A.S. in Computer Science, and has worked in various IT jobs at Purdue for 20 years.EDUCAUSE Presentations
