Jenell Bramlage

Biography

Jenell Bramlage, Ph.D., serves as Senior Vice President of Information Management and Strategic Services at UTSA. Her proven record in higher education and information and data management gives her insight from all areas with higher education, meaning she brings a unique perspective in portfolio and data management across the enterprise. With tremendous expertise and experience in the accreditation field, she has also worked for both regional and national accreditation bodies in the U.S. for a combined total of more than 10 years. These include the Higher Learning Commission and Middle States Commission on Higher Education, where she was selected to serve as an assessment e-mentor and accreditation liaison officer. At UTSA, she is responsible for overseeing the IT portfolio management group comprised of business relationship managers and the strategic services team, as well as the IT portfolio governance launch.

 

Bramlage has more than 24 years of experience in higher education. Previously, she served as Executive Director of Institutional Research and Assessment at Bucks County Community College. She also served as associate vice president for Academic Affairs, director of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness, and professor and department chair in the department of management—all at the University of Northwestern Ohio. Bramlage obtained a Ph.D. in organization and management, with a specialization in leadership from Capella University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Findlay.
