Jenna Dubas
Biography
I have been a nurse educator since 2003 and a simulationist in nursing education since 2004. I have taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels, in face-to-face and online environments, and am experienced in didactic, clinical, skills lab, and simulation settings. I am currently an Assistant Professor in a BSN program, teaching in the classroom, labs, high-fidelity simulation, and immersive virtual reality simulation. I am passionate about inclusive learning environments and student-centered approaches, including adaptation to generational differences. My research interests include high-fidelity clinical simulation and serious games for undergraduate nursing students, as well as diversity and inclusion in nursing education. I am typically an early adopter of technology and active learning strategies, as I am in a constant state of growth as an educator. In this regard, I am currently most interested in leveraging AI for teaching and learning.
