Biography
Jenni Hayman is a very experienced researcher, facilitator and instructional designer. She has taken a leave from academia, and possibly her senses, and is driving the formation of a national open, online education platform for Canada called Wide World Ed. Innovation in the design and delivery of truly open, global education are her passions. In the past year Jenni has facilitated and presented at eight conferences on a variety of topics including standards for online instruction practice, online instructional design project management, and stakeholder concerns in online and mobile learning. Her work focuses holistically on learners, teachers, support providers and institutional administrators to ensure that online courses and programs meet the stated needs of all stakeholders and represent the highest possible quality. With over 25 years of work and learning experience in a variety of fields (including IT, Marketing and Communication, Music and Client Technology Training), Jenni has a significant depth of teaching and learning perspectives. Jenni worked for four years as an Apple Creative prior to pursuing her current instructional design education and career path, and has a joyful relationship with technology and a clear understanding of inclusive and media rich design of instructional materials.EDUCAUSE Presentations
