Jennifer Tweedy

Biography

A leader and a technologist with over two decades in technology, Jennifer is a passionate team builder nurturing high-performing, high-trust, agile, happy teams who are sharply focused on solutions that effect positive change. Jennifer has led diverse teams comprised of technologists, designers, developers, communicators and subject matter experts. 

In her current role as the Executive Director of Governance with the Arizona State University Technology Office (UTO), Jennifer leads a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the areas of strategic priorities, the enterprise IT community of practice, privacy, data governance, and IT policy, advancing initiatives and technology solutions across ASU. Before joining the leadership team at UTO, Jennifer served ASU’s Watts College as the Chief Digital Officer leading Information Technology and Marketing teams. 

Prior to ASU, Jennifer served at the Arizona Department of Health Services, launched the agency’s social media efforts; created an award-winning multi-channel presence; directed digital strategy, online community building and engagement, social technology, brand content creation, web design and development, video, photography and studio production, and GIS. Collaborating across Arizona State Government, Jennifer had the privilege of serving on numerous state-level collaborations for improvement to offerings for Arizonans, including the Governor’s Goal Council for Online Services, developing Arizona Government Digital Strategy and digitizing citizen services; and led continuous quality improvement teams during Arizona State Government’s adoption of Lean practices.
