Biography
Jennifer's current focus is on supporting career development, communication, leadership, and new employees as an internal consultant and trainer within an academic library. Her background and interests focus on the interpersonal while finding ways to make technology really help (instead of getting in the way).
Her experience includes organizational adoption of SharePoint for communication and collaboration, facilitating workshops including those based on Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, light-weight project management for web development, more than 10 years as a supervisor and department leader, and 20+ years as an academic librarian working in public services, , technology, technical services, and administration.
She earned her Master of Science in Education degree with a focus on Adult Education/Human Resource Development from James Madison University; and Master in Library Science degree from the University of Alabama. She is certified as an MBTI facilitator through OKA and CAPT, and as an Appreciative Inquiry facilitator through the Center for Appreciative Inquiry.
