Biography

Jeremiah Barber currently serves as the Web Accessibility and SEO Coordinator for the Marketing Department at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has 20 years of web development experience, 12 of which is in Higher Education with 4 years at UTSA. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in 2004 and his Master in Business Administration from Rockhurst University in 2016. Jeremiah specializes in web development utilizing HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. Jeremiah is co-chair of the accessibility committee at UTSA and has overseen accessibility policymaking, VPAT reviews, accessibility exception requests, quarterly/annual accessibility trainings, accessibility scanning via DubBot, and manual review of websites utilizing the WAVE Tool and keyboard navigation. He has also been a member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals for the last 4 years and participated in a host of web-based trainings and presentations.
