Biography

Jeremy Simons is the Director of Campus Technology Services at Lone Star College - University Park in Houston, TX. He is responsible for leading the team that provides IT services to the University Park Campus. Jeremy has served in several Higher Education IT roles over his 20 year career including: Technical Specialist with the University of Indianapolis, Data Center Specialist with the University of Houston-Downtown, and User Services Manager with Lone Star College – CyFair. Jeremy is a product of the community college system where he obtained an AAS in Computer Information Systems from SUNY Onondaga Community College and earned his BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown. He also holds a Unix Administration Certificate from Syracuse University. He is a huge baseball fan, enjoys traveling, and spending time with his wife and two children.
