Biography

Jerry Sheehan is the Vice President & Chief Information Officer for San Diego State University. As the CIO, Mr. Sheehan has responsibility for the IT infrastructure supporting learning, research, and engagement. Jerry was a signatory to the Educause CIO Commitment on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and, through collaborations across SDSU's, is helping create outcomes to honor this commitment.

Before joining SDSU, Mr. Sheehan was the VP/CIO for Montana State University. His 25 years of higher education experience have been focused on the value add that information technology can offer to students, faculty, and staff.
