Biography

As the Executive Director of UM IT Client Experience, Jesse oversees a team of professional and student staff who provide quality support to UM students, staff and faculty.  Jesse is intentional about learning and encourages others to do so; focusing on personal and professional development for members of his team in an effort to be more than typical IT support. He strives to have shared expectations and transparency in communication with those served, treating them as partners through a project rather than clients or customers. He focuses on quality service, efficiency, and value when leading his team and works to empower them to realize success. An active and inquisitive member of many campus committees and governance bodies, he spends much of his time engaging and working towards a more cohesive and effective IT organization across the campus at UM.
