Biography

Dr. Jessica A. Stansbury is the Director of Teaching and Learning Excellence at the University of Baltimore’s Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching, and Technology. A first-generation college student, she holds a doctorate in Instructional Technology and a master’s in Experimental Psychology. She spent 15 years as a psychology faculty member and worked for a decade as an addiction therapist prior to her academic career. A firm believer in servant leadership and the power of community, she is a leader in the national dialogue on generative AI in education. Her work has been featured in The Baltimore Sun, The Washington Post, The Chronicle of Higher Education and MIT Technology Review, highlighting her commitment to innovation in teaching and learning.
