Biography
Jessie Clayton is a Computer Lab Technology Specialist at Tallahassee Community College at Tallahassee, Florida, where he plays a significant role in the operation of Academic Computing Labs and in the review of classroom/lab software and hardware inventory for licensing requirements, strategic planning, and policy development for information technology programs. Recent projects include assisted in implementing a CIS 2401 Computer User Support Student volunteer program in the computer lab in fall 2003, assisted putting into operation a new student card swipe system in the computer labs in fall 2004, assisted with the installation of over 200 new Dell P4 computers and nearly 150 software programs throughout the computer labs in summer 2005. Mr. Clayton supervises, organizes and coordinates schedules, and trains computer lab assistants in lab polices and procedures for Academic Computing Labs. He works directly with and provides support to the Academic Computing Director and Lab Manager, IT Personnel, other Academic Directors, full-time and adjunct faculty, and other college personnel.
