Jessie Heminway
Biography
Jessie Heminway holds a Bachelors degree in philosophy with a minor in studio art and a Masters degree in Interactive Telecommunications from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a graduate certificate in Instructional Design from George Washington University. After 10 years in Silicon Valley producing interactive multimedia applications for both enterprise and commercial use, Jessie turned to instructional design. Jessie is applying her expertise in curriculum and technology integration at the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program, a five-year graduate/medical degree program where students engage in an almost entirely Problem-Based Learning medical curriculum while simultaneously earning a master's degree (MS). After three years, students receive their medical doctorate (MD) at UCSF.EDUCAUSE Presentations
