Jim Robertson

Biography

Jim is the principal architect of NYU's web presence, principal advocate for new applications of the web within NYU, and principal foreteller of how NYU should position itself to keep abreast of changes to the web. He supervises a content group and a technical group. Previously, Jim was the Director of University Web Services at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJ's Science & Technology University), where he is responsible for the university's website(s), social network site(s), and its e-engagement initiatives. Jim got his start in the library organization at NJIT, where he rose to be the Assistant University Librarian at NJIT for innovation and technology. Jim is an alumn of the EDUCAUSE/CLIR Frye Leadership Institute, the Snowbird Library Leadership Institute, and a NJ-ACRL Technology Innovation Award winner.
