Joan Lippincott is Associate Executive Director Emerita at the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI). In this interview, she discusses the Directions in Digital Scholarships initiative, which explores the current and future state of digital scholarship, data-intensive research, and computational research.
Joan is Associate Executive Director Emerita of the Coalition for Networked Information, a joint program of EDUCAUSE and the Association of Research Libraries. She has worked on issues related to collaboration among information professionals since she joined CNI in 1990. Joan has a Ph.D. in higher education from University of Maryland. She has written on a variety of topics including learning spaces, digital scholarship centers, digital libraries, and assessment.
