Biography

Joan Thomas is the Manager of Instructional Development and Training at the Innovative Technology Center at the University of Tennessee. She leads the development of instuctional-based projects, providing project management, art direction and graphic design. In addition, she leads faculty services program which focuses on the conversion of course content from face-to-face to online course delivery. She earned her master's degree in fine art, with a concentration in Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee after working as an art director in magazine publishing.
