Biography

Jodi Harris is the senior director of Strategic Insights, Planning, and Operations, overseeing data analytics, assessment, strategic planning, project, and work management support for Penn State Online Education. With 25 years of experience in education analytics, Jodi has successfully led initiatives to improve institutional performance, foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and help organizations use analytics to inform decision-making.  Jodi has worked for a K-12 school district, various higher education institutions, and at the state level with the Ohio Department of Education.  Jodi is pursuing a Doctorate in Education at Penn State University and holds an MA in Sociology from Ohio State University and a BA in Sociology from Coe College. Her research focuses on how institutional research professionals can facilitate learning to help decision-makers better utilize data to drive action and improve outcomes.
