Jodi Peterson

Biography

Jodi Peterson is the recipient of the President’s Distinguished Achievement Award in Core Curriculum Teaching (2015), the Honor’s Alliance Award for Excellence in Promoting Academic Integrity, Intelligent Living and Meaningful Learning (2016), the President’s Distinguished Achievement Award for Innovation and Impact (2020), and the Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award (2020). Peterson is a lecturer in the Department of History who has primarily taught large core courses on U.S. history in face-to-face, hybrid and fully online modalities. In addition to her master's degree in History, Peterson earned a master's degree in Teaching.
